Description
Yellow enamelled copper necklace in a triangle shape. The back of the necklace has been enamelled in yellow too. The back of the pendant needs enamelling to reduce how much the pendant warps in the kiln and to reduce the chance of the enamel cracking. Vitreous enamel is effectively glass, but melting it onto copper in a kiln makes the materials bond so although if you drop it, it might crack, it isn’t as fragile as you might expect. The necklace was given slightly longer in the kiln to give black dots. The pendant is about 4.5cm tall, in on a waxed cord ‘chain’ and comes in a black presentation box.
