Description
Bright copper pierced cuff bracelet with three paw print shapes cut out. I treated it with lacquer, but it may still get darker with time, especially if the lacquer rubs off. It is sold in a black presentation box. The cuff is about 6.8cm diameter at the widest point and 2.5cm high, so probably about right for a medium female wrist or small-medium male wrist. It is more of an oval shape so it matches better the shape of wrists.
I cut the shapes out with a jewellers saw (called piercing). They do mean that if the bracelet is bent it will bend at the shapes, but it can be evened out if this happens. Some of the claws have ended up a little pointy, so a little wolf-like.
The cuff shape makes sizing more flexible and makes it easier to get the bracelet on and off. Pushing the narrow part of the wrist through the gap is usually the easiest way of getting it on (if not then twisting the hand into it works well).
