Mixed colours rectangle enamelled copper earrings on surgical steel, allergy-safe earhooks, presented in a black box. The back of the earrings have been enamelled too because the enamel on the back stops them warping too much in the kiln.
On the finial firing, I gave these earrings a lot longer in the kiln. Initially they were pale pink, but they looked a bit boring so I overfired them. This has given a dark outer edge with spots of copper visible and green-ish dots. The earrings are not perfectly identical. The rectangles are 3cm long and 0.7cm wide.
I’m afraid there’s only 1 photo. For some reason the green kept coming out either too dark or too pale. The green is a grass green or slightly pale grass green shade.
