Hammered copper wire bangle or bracelet. I cut a length of chunky copper wire then hammer it into a bracelet shape, which gives it some texture as well as making the copper a bit stiffer. The shape is more of an oval so it sits flatter against your wrist. The bangle has a little flexibility, which helps for getting it on and off, but it is stiffer than other bracelets I make. For getting it on and off, especially if you like a tighter fit, I suggest twisting/rotating it as you take it over your hand or alternatively pushing the narrow part of your wrist through the gap. It is sold in a black presentation box. The bracelet has a layer of lacquer to protect it, but this may rub off with time and wear.
I currently have 3 variations that I’ve called small, medium and large. Small has a diameter of about 6.5cm across the widest point, medium 6.7cm (so only a tiny bit bigger than the small) and large 7cm.
Every item I make is unique, therefore the one you receive may differ a little from the one shown in the photo. The size can be bespoke – let me know roughly what size you would like. If you want a variation to this item, please get in touch because I can do custom orders. Also, please get in touch if you would like more information.
