Electroformed stone necklace with black waxed cotton cord and in a black presentation box. I think the stone/pebble is a piece of chalk.
Electroforming is copper deposition – you can use it to coat pretty much anything with copper and for this I used it to coat the back of a pretty pebble from my garden. The stone is about 3cm tall. During electroforming a little of the solution has got through to the stone giving green dots.
The cord is slightly longer than often, at about 70cm total length, but it can always be made shorter with a knot.
Every item I make is unique.
