Terms and Conditions for Sales
Eleanor Rogerson will endeavour to post items within 3 days of receiving payment, ideally within 1 working day. Personalised or custom items will take longer as they will have to be made prior to posting, but the timescale can be discussed as part of the commissioning process. Please note that I often re-use packaging.
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. Eleanor Rogerson is not responsible for delays due to customs.
The buyer has a right to terminate the contract and return the item even if the item is not faulty in any way (this is the consumer’s right in UK law). The buyer has the right to do this up to 14 days after receipt of the items and a full refund including the cost of the outgoing postage will be made within 14 days of Eleanor Rogerson receiving the returned item(s). The buyer is responsible for paying for the cost of return postage. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
Please note: Unless faulty, items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements are non-refundable.
Cancelling a Transaction
The buyer must inform Eleanor Rogerson if they wish to cancel the order and they must do this by email. Eleanor Rogerson will provide a full refund of the cost of the item and any postage costs within 14 calendar days of receiving the returned item(s). If the goods have not yet been sent, refunds will be provided within 14 days of receipt of the notification of cancellation. To cancel an order, please contact Eleanor Rogerson by email at firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible.
Return of Faulty Goods
The buyer has a right to return goods if they develop a fault within six months of receipt of the goods. Depending on the circumstances, they may be entitled to a refund (full or partial), a repair or replacement.
If the item does not arrive within 14 days of the email confirming it has been posted, it will be assumed that the item has been lost. Please contact Eleanor Rogerson to discuss a refund or replacement. As the majority of items are one-offs, a replacement may take additional time to be made.
