These are a selection of the decorative artificial flowers I’ve made. The flowers are made by cutting leaves, any sepal and layers of petals from sheet 0.5mm thick copper using a jeweller’s saw. For some of the flowers I enamel the petals and leaves, otherwise they are textured. The petals, leaves and sepals are brazed onto copper pipe or wire and shaped. If the flower is not enamelled, it’s pickled clean and then lacquered. The final step is to attach the flower to a stained block of wood as a base.
